The Intelix VGA2-HR powered VGA balun supports 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) resolution video up to 350 feet over Cat5e/6 cabling. Dip switches allow for setting EDID presets (1024x768 and 1280x800) and EDID copy mode. In EDID copy mode the Receive balun transmits the EDID of the remote display back to the Transmit balun for custom EDID storage. Dip switches for skew compensation and a trim pot for brightness control can also be found on the Receive balun.

The Intelix VGA-HD converts VGA and stereo audio to HDMI. The unit passes through native resolutions without scaling to ensure picture quality. The built-in EDID tables pass common resolutions (1920 X 1080 with stereo audio and 1280 X 720 with stereo audio) back to the source device.  The VGA-HD also has a dynamic EDID compatibility function.

Vanco's 280173 HDMI Audio Extractor extracts audio signals from an HDMI source and allows for simultaneous output of toslink or coaxial digital and stereo 3.5mm analog audio signals.
