The Universal RCA Compression Connector is ideal for use in a wide range of home and video connection applications, such as terminating HDTV and stereo connections. Packaged with a separate center connector pin and six color-coded bands, the Universal RCA Compression Connector provides quick, cost-effective, secure terminations for RG6 and RG6 Quad Shield Cable and lets installers select the appropriate band color to identify connection types (i.e., left audio, right audio, video and component video RGB) on the job-site. The device's field-configurable design eliminates the need for installers to stock multiple compression connectors with various color bands to the job site, instead letting them choose the appropriate band color while cable terminations are being made. Constructed of brass with a nickel finish, the Universal RCA Compression Connector features a radial compression design that provides 360 ° electrical continuity.
